Julia Forster 2024 Coaching Clinic

Coaching for Creatives at the Poetry Pharmacy - Limited spaces available.

Applications now closed but please do contact Julia for other opportunities

Julia Forster, Author Coach at Write Within and Co-Director of The Literary Consultancy's Being A Writer is seeking applications from poets, authors and creative practitioners who would like to access affordable coaching sessions at the Poetry Pharmacy in Bishop’s Castle in 2024.

Are you a poet, author or creative practitioner who would like to set some goals this year to move your work-in-progress forwards? Perhaps you’ve taken time away from your artistic practice and would like to ease back in meaningfully to creating and sustaining a committed practice? Or maybe you desire some other kind of change within the realm of an already established creative life?

Write Within’s Julia Forster will be offering monthly one-hour 1:1 coaching sessions at the Poetry Pharmacy with up to three clients on the third Monday of the month between March - September 2024 (excluding August), totalling six hours of face-to-face coaching. The sessions are £40 an hour, including free coffee/tea and cake, with the total cost over the sessions coming to £240. Clients pay monthly via BACS or cash.

More about the Offer

Coaching offers a non-judgemental space held with care by the coach for the client to think, reflect, and raise awareness of their issues by which they are currently challenged. Coaches bear witness, listen, support and challenge, with the client setting the agenda and the pace of inner

work.   This coaching offer is distinct from mentoring or manuscript assessment. Coaching sessions will instead be focused on setting goals in conversation with a forward focus, and Julia will help clients to raise their awareness and responsibility, and accountability to themselves.

Julia will be running her coaching clinic at the Poetry Pharmacy in 2024 on:

 Monday 18 March

 Monday 15 April

 Monday 20 May

 Monday 17 June

 Monday 15 July

 Monday 16 September

At 10.30am, 1.00pm or 2.30pm. Potential clients would need to be available on all of those days.

To express your interest, please complete the short form by midnight on 29 February 2024 here:

There is no obligation to take out the coaching offer if you complete this form. We also require of potential clients that they commit to a free 30-minute phone or zoom consultation in early March 2024 before the coaching commences in order that clients can find out more about what

coaching involves and ask any questions.

If you need further information, please contact Julia via her website here:
